A Snippet About God's Timing

I stumbled upon Psalm 70 this morning and was engaged by the urgency of David's outcry. Verse one says, "Hasten, O God, to save me; O Lord, come quickly to help me." We so often want God to come to our rescue quickly. Later, we may discover that quickly would not have been in our best interest. There is a time of urgency and a time for delay. I pray that God will give us the wisdom to properly discern those times and the tenacity to draw on the His perfect peace to sustain us until rescue arrives..
